Many times we can not change the tragedies that leave 147 little ones orphaned, but we can  make sure they don't stay orphans forever.  Rescuing a child is not easy.  Often God uses many people in the rescue of one child.  We have been so blessed in the friends and family that have joined us through each journey of adoption, and we invite you to join us again, as we travel back to China this year.   God brought us a little girl who was rescued from death by missionaries and given the name Amy, which means "to be loved".  We know that God had his hand on her and spared her life in a miraculous way.  We know He has an incredible purpose for her, and we feel blessed to have been chosen as her parents.  It wasn't in our plans.  Adopting again had not even crossed our minds, but sometimes God's plans are very different that ours. 
 Amy is four years old and has Downs Syndrome, just like our little YiXi.  She is absolutely beautiful ( although we are not allowed to share her photo at this point in her adoption)  We'd love for you to join in the journey of her adoption and life. We are in the paperwork process, and hope to be traveling to China to bring her home before the end of this year!!
